Behold
1. The appearance or arrival of the majestic, the divine.
2. To perceive.
I. Blindness
Have you eyes, yet do not see,
Ears, yet do not hear,
Blessed with all your senses,
and fail to perceive?
II. Undeserved Blessings
Whatsoever I receive is undeserved,
A reflection of myself,
Rather than the bestower.
Of my wastefulness, ungratefulness,
Inability to overcome worldly, childish desires.
Indeed, a blessing,
For I am undeserving,
Of the giver’s abundant grace, benevolence and generosity.
III. Stillness
Stillness,
A flurry,
What is unseen,
Invisible to a spectator.
What happens in absence,
In the dark,
Eyes shut,
In solitude,
In silence.
That which is imperceptible.
Calm and rushing,
Quiet and a conversation,
Clear and overcome.
An ocean,
A tidal wave,
A tsunami.
From whence, a mystery.
Given a gift,
To give away.
Seeing clearly through a flurry of snowflakes,
Unobstructed visibility.
This, here, now,
That, there, then.
Clarity amidst abundance.
All in stillness.
Internal, external.
And to the onlooker,
Unimpressionable,
Nothing to behold.
Beautiful!
You always challenge my brain and help extend it.
